Our Story

A Story of Success Spanning Over a Decade

The foundations of MediTravel were laid in 2012 when our founder took his first steps into the medical tourism sector in Samsun. During those early years he guided hundreds of patients — primarily from Iraq — through Turkey's healthcare system, helping them find the right clinic and complete their treatments seamlessly.

MediTravel was officially established in 2018 in Samsun. Operating under Arven Areş Emlak İnşaat Sağlık Hizmetleri Turizm Ltd. Şti., partnerships were forged with Turkey's leading hospitals — VM Medical Park, Liv Hospital and Medical Park — giving our patients access to safe, high-quality medical care.

Today MediTravel has reached thousands of patients from more than 15 countries. We provide services in five languages — Turkish, Arabic, English, German and Georgian — and manage everything from flights and hotels to surgery and discharge.

Our Founder

Visionary Leadership, Deep-Rooted Experience

Sefa

Founder & CEO

Sefa entered the medical tourism sector in 2012, launching his career in Samsun. Over the years he attended major international healthcare fairs in Iraq on behalf of Medical Park, coordinating the treatment journeys of thousands of Iraqi patients in Samsun.

In addition to MediTravel, Sefa serves as General Manager of Arven Areş Emlak İnşaat Sağlık Hizmetleri Turizm Ltd. Şti. (Medifon), managing both organisations directly. He holds an official Medical Tourism Agency licence from the Turkish Ministry of Health and has collaborated with Samsun Metropolitan Municipality on various healthcare tourism projects.

Committed to continuous learning, Sefa is currently pursuing a doctorate in physics in Turkey. Through his 'Specialisation Programme', he also trains healthcare professionals — several of whom have already graduated and are actively working in the sector.
